Giving status
The Foundation intends to apply to the Canada Revenue Agency for registration as a charity. It is not currently a registered charity and cannot issue official donation receipts for income tax purposes. Information concerning charitable registration and donation receipting will be updated as applicable.
Online giving is not yet open.

Frequently asked questions
Is the Foundation a registered charity?
Not at present. The Foundation is a federally incorporated not-for-profit organization and intends to apply to the Canada Revenue Agency for registration as a charity.
Can I receive a tax receipt for a gift?
No. The Foundation cannot issue official donation receipts for income tax purposes unless and until it is registered as a charity. This page will be updated if that changes.
Is online giving available?
Not yet. Online giving will open only after the board approves a gift acceptance policy and a payment provider. You can register your interest below.
How will gifts be used?
Only for the Foundation’s charitable purposes, under board-approved budgets and financial controls. Designated gifts will be used for their designated purpose.
